On a wonderfully warm and clear day, we headed south to the picturesque town of Sausalito, across the bay from San Francisco. With temperatures hovering in the mid-70's, we enjoyed shopping on Bridgeway Ave. Shops ranged from inexpensive T-shirt shops to upper end art galleries. Walking a short distance to our restaurant (The Spinnaker) sharpened our appitites and rewarded our efforts with great food AND great views. The restaurant sits out over the water, providing world class views of San Francisco and permitting us to watch seals and sea lions play in the bay!

After lunch, we took one of our famous "Scenic Drives" thru Sausalito and to the Marin Headlands to view the Golden Gate Bridge, then to Rodeo Beach. One of the best days of the year to do this!
