On a very blustery day (but eventually warm) we went to Sacramento, having lunch at Joe's Crab Shack in Old Town Sacramento. The restaurant sits on the shore of the Sacramento River and serves up pretty good fare! Everyone left full and happy.We are going to have to schedule a day to come up here and wander around Old Town...
We
then did some sightseeing along the Capital Mall, with a very impressive Capital building. Our destination - the International Peace Rose Garden, which inhabits the eastern end of a beautiful park surrounding the Capital Bldg. Everyone very much enjoyed the sights and smells of the roses...
