Flavors of the World - Italy April 7th-13th

We enjoyed a fun week at Deer Park this week. The theme was Flavors of the World - Italy, which included several Italian entrees prepared by Chef Bryan, Italian Trivia, Italian Scavenger Hunt and Name that Italian Tune.

The Italian Trivia was printed on individual place-mats where 98% of our residents participated. All participants received a chocolate candy bar.

Italian Scavenger Hunt. Residents were given their own personal Deer Park Passports. Their job was to locate each Italian place (shown in the Key below). Then stamp their passport. One winner was drawn from all completed passports and the WINNER was Reno (picture above). He won a $25.00 gift certificate to our Deer Park Salon.
